Matcha cookies

Every now and then I run across a recipe I love but change it up a bit…

This is a delicious change in treating yourself to some cookies~

I hope you enjoy these as much as we do~

  • 1 Β½ cups all-purpose flour
I use GLUTEN FREE all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp matcha green tea powder
  • ΒΌ cup + 2 tbsp white sugar
  • Β½ cup brown sugar
  • ΒΌ cup + 2 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • Β½ tbsp vanilla or orange extract
  • Β½ tsp salt
  • ΒΌ tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp bee pollen {optional, but real healthy for you}
  • honey for drizzle

  1. Cream the butter and egg in a bowl using an electric mixer.
  2. Add the white sugar and mix well. Add the brown sugar and beat until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and matcha green tea powder and bee pollen if you use. Add to the sugar mixture and combine.
  4. Add the vanilla extract, salt and baking soda and mix until fully combined. Add the white chocolate chips and mix until fully dispersed.
  5. Spoon onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes. Immediately remove from the baking sheet with a spatula and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. drizzle cooled down cookies with honey

Teas I recommend with these delish morsels:
