I came across this special iced tea, but as many of you know, I like to tweak and make them extra good. This unique and healthy, “Apples meet matcha” iced tea, will have you coming back for more…refreshing and great energy booster!
1/2 teaspoon Matcha
2 tablespoons water (for whisking matcha)
1 1/4 cups fresh pressed apple juice (fresh, sweet, no added sugar, clear color)
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon pressed ginger juice
1 slice of dehydrated apple slice (to serve)
- Add matcha powder and 2 tablespoons of water and whisk together in a small bowl, until blended together then set aside.
- Take a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Add cold pressed ginger, lime juice, apple juice and cinnamon. Give a good shake to blend then pour the shaker contents into serving glass filled with ice.
- Using the spoon flip side, slowly tip the matcha mixture gently over the juice mixture in the serving glass to layer for a split effect.
- Stir till blended and garnish with dehydrated apple slice!
